This is Book Two in the Beginning Grammar Reader Series, which teaches prepositions.  Students read sentences using words from Wise List A-H.  They will also diagram the preposition/object and draw an illustration from each sentence.

All of the selections in Up, Over, and Out are about pets or "would be" pets.  Several are animals observed inthe wild.  Children who were field-tested by Wanda were delighted with these Grammar Readers.  

Although some grammar books struggle in teaching the concept of prepositions, these books enabled children to identify prepositions with ease.
