Student Intensive Continuation Course - Level B
Author: Andrew Pudewa
The Student Intensive Continuation Course-Level B (SICC-B) picks up where the Student Writing Intensive - Level B (SWI-B) leaves off and continues with advanced stylistic techniques and the remaining structural models. All students viewing SICC-B should have previous experience and a fair working knowledge of the concepts presented in SWI-B. For example, before viewing SICC-B, students should have completed SWI-B or SICC-A (or have equivalent experience)
Each course consists of ten sessions . Appropriately challenging homework assignments are given for each class. Generally, each session is 90-110 minutes long and includes direct instruction, in-class exercises, modeling, and discussion.
Class materials include all source texts, new charts, assignment checklists, grade sheets, and abundant student samples for each assignment.
Each level includes 9 DVD discs and one CD-ROM with printable class materials. Its use with small groups of students is encouraged, and the reproducible course materials may be distributed freely to all participants.
