Due to popular demand, this modified and authorized reproduction of the 1996 Teaching Reading at Home Training Video produced by Back Home Industries is now available on DVD. Please note that some quality has been lost over time, but this is not significant.

Elizabeth Fitzgerald, Endorsed SWR Trainer, has added valuable notes to accompany the DVD, which update the original video. Without the notes, the package is incomplete and outdated! Be sure to read the notes carefully as you watch the DVD.

This DVD package is a limited time release. When Back Home Industries produces a Training Video specifically for Spell to Write and Read, this Modified TRH Training Video package will go out of production. The project is still in the planning and research phase and currently, the projected release date for the SWR video is unknown.

The Training Video (DVD) & Notes are intended to:

• Provide a visual model of key concepts in SWR
• Model the current dictation process
• Give a demonstration of the program working with real children
• Demonstrate the flow of a typical spelling lesson
• Assist teachers in gaining confidence in their teaching
• Provide an up-to-date Training Package when both the DVD and Notes are used together

The Training Video (DVD) & Notes are NOT intended:

• To replace the teacher! This DVD is not intended to provide instruction to your children, nor will the production quality allow for that. This is meant to be a Teacher Training session.
  
• To replace the training gained from a 2-day live SWR Seminar presented by Wanda Sanseri or one of her endorsed trainers. This is a sample of teaching SWR to real students.

Training Notes include:

• SWR Scope & Sequence Step numbers that correlate with DVD chapters
• Errata notes to explain where rules & examples in the video have been updated in SWR
• Cross-referencing of video footage with instructions found in SWR
• Time listings so you can find the exact place on the DVD to which the notes refer
• Pictures of the fingergrams used for dictating Wise List D and selected words from other Wise Lists
