Each student needs a new spelling notebook every year. We also suggest the teacher have a Black Learning Log to build the Master Teacher’s Log at the Advanced Level beginning with Section P in The WISE Guide.

This blank, sewn notebook with 50 leaves has regular lined notebook paper. Teachers instruct students how to build reference pages in the back of the book. Notebooks with 100 pages are not recommended as they often have too few lines for Reference Pages, are bulky to write in, and contain far more pages than are needed for our purposes.
